The Sawla District Assembly has Embarked on the Mandatory Fumigation Exercise in Sawla including the Sawla central Market, Bole/ Kumasi Station,Vip/Pork Market,All public toilets and refuse damps, drainage systems and many more public spaces.
This Exercise According to the District Chief Executive Hon Lawal Tamimu forms part of the nationwide disinfestation of public spaces to curb the spread of the deadly corona Virus.
The DCE urged residents and traders to comply with the directive to enhance a smooth Exercise. He further encouraged them to adhere to the Safety precautionary measures outlined by the Ghana Health service to promote healthy living.
The Second Phase of the Exercise is expected kick start on Wednesday which will include Tuna, Gindabo, Kulmasa, gbeneyiri, Senyeri and any other public space that needs to be disinfected.
In line with measures outlined by government to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in Ghana, all MMDA’s as expected to embark on a Fumigation Exercise to disinfect public spaces in Ghana.
