Popular Tamale-based music duo Choggu Boys are set to launch their music album titled “Heroes of Change”. The album according to them, is their 5th audio album containing 15 songs. In an exclusive interview with North Star Radio, Spokesperson for Choggu Boys, Mr. Rafik Iddrisu popular known as Emi Love confirmed the launch of the album is set for March 28, 2020.

Emi Love stated that the groups’ decision to celebrate some late illustrious sons of Choggu who contributed greatly to the growth of the Choggu community was their inspiration for choosing “Heroes of Change” as the title for the album. He mentioned the likes of the Late Pastor Dokurugu who was a revered Assemblies of God Church pastor as one who encouraged the youth to go to school and offered to cater for their fees and other needs regarding education.

He said Dr. Abdulai Alhassan Choggu was another illustrious son of Choggu who cared for the mentally challenged and the needy in society. The late Dakpem Dema Naa, Mohammed Hafiz Abdulai Choggu I is another son who stood for the youth and the progress of the creative art industry in Tamale.

On behalf of the Choggu boys team, Emi Love thanked the media for promoting their music on various platforms. However, there was an appeal to continue the promotion for the growth of the music industry in Northern Ghana. He said the “Heroes of Change” album launch is set for March 28, 2020 at the Aliu Mahama conference room in the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale.
